Australia’s complicit shills have lost the narrative and sound fucking ridiculous

As moronic and absurd slander from Australia’s Zionist mouthpieces sprays across this captured colony’s column inches with renewed and diuretic gusto, Francesca Albanese, UN Special Rapporteur on the occupied Palestinian territories, this week presented her latest report to the United Nations on the media’s genocidal complicity.

Entitled Truth under the rubble, Albanese crucifies the media’s role both inside Israel and internationally, including in Australia, stating that, “the destruction of truth has become integral to the destruction of a people.”

Albanese writes: “The evidence examined in this report describes a single, integrated phenomenon that, in many respects, constitutes mediacide: the destruction of the media’s essential function.” In practice, this mediacide, or the murder of truth, has three connected prongs: “systematic elimination of Palestinian journalists”, “dissemination and normalization of genocidal incitement and denial,” and the reproduction of genocidal Israeli narratives “by influential Western media and digital platforms.”

To facilitate this slaughter locally, Australia has its own effluent pipeline: a cohort of pompous journalists who graduate from expensive private schools, then enroll in university journalism degrees where they learn how to unquestioningly punch down, before nabbing one of the few highly coveted jobs at our shitty newspapers or the dire remains of the ABC. From there, a chosen few go on to literally roll around in the Dead Sea mud with Zionist war criminals to further their own career prospects. It is an obvious truth but one that bears repeating over and over: fucking no one should be taking these people seriously.

A cohort of Australia’s more prominent journalists rolling in the Dead Sea mud on a propaganda tour of Israel. Former Sydney Morning Herald editor Bevan Shields is pictured front left.

“Throughout the genocide, Israel has waged what its Prime Minister has called the ‘battle for truth,’ campaigning to shape the conditions under which reality is seen and understood,” the good Albanese explains.

It is into this heavily cultivated “reality” that Senator Sarah Henderson of the Liberal Party this week slandered Michael West Media, one of the few Australian outlets consistently reporting the truth on Palestine. Henderson used her Senate estimates platform to accuse Michael West of “antisemitic tropes”, saying she’d “spare us the details”. I’ve misplaced my Zionist-to-plain-English dictionary, but I believe the rough translation is “I’ll spare you any evidence.”

In this same week, Lamestream caught multiple Australian newspapers in an overt case of collusion with the genocidal entity. Osman Faruqi pulled apart stories from The Daily Telegraph, The Australian, The Nightly and The Financial Review. He noted their reporters were all in Israel at the same time, all running functionally identical stories, all quoting the same source (an Israeli official called Aviv Ezra), all while on a sponsored trip funded by the same organisation: the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies. No wonder everyone has ADHD now: paying attention to this crap is fucking awful.

Our discourse has become so poisoned with genocidal propaganda, weighted algorithms and overt nonsense that the entire mainstream world bleeds credibility by the hour. But these attacks in the press no longer solely hurt their victims – they make the mudslingers look pathetic, too. Imagine being a journalist with access, resources, a wardrobe of suits and ties, and a mainstream audience, and not once describing big-picture reality accurately over the last three years! Far too many fall into this camp. Far too many have failed in their journalistic duties.

Tuning into this corporate slop, this hasbara disguised as news, is today enraging, maddening and depressing, for there now exists an unsustainable situation where extremely ordinary, nonviolent Australians who are naturally appalled at a mass slaughter of brown babies, women, and men, are perpetually smeared as the real racists, the real terrorists, the real threat. This too is the modus operandi of Jillian Segal, special envoy to silence dissent against genocide, who this week claimed that the peoples’ mass movement against atrocity is in fact “progressive antisemitism”. After all we’ve seen livestreamed, you’d need a lobotomy and a solid whiff of paint thinner to believe her.

Australian of the year Grace Tame has been on the end of far too many such smear campaigns to count. On this weekend’s Sunday Shot, I speak to her about the increasingly ridiculous assertions of the genocidally complicit classes.

Grace Tame: “It’s beyond desperate. It’s becoming more and more farcical by the day. We’re at a point where the truth is undeniable. Life as we know it is in jeopardy. We’re careening towards total ecological collapse fuelled by this insatiable imperial greed. Manufactured poverty and famine, gender inequality, racism and environmental disasters are only becoming more widespread and intense. Genocides and needless wars are unfolding live on our screens. The illusion of a rules based order has been shattered. So authoritarian leaders and their sycophantic allies are resorting to twisted unconstitutional methods, whether that’s censorship or the implementation of draconian legislation, in order to maintain what control they have left. It’s all they’ve got left. They only have lies and corrupt solutions because they can’t win on truth. The narrative war has been lost. We’ll only see them grow more crazed and rabid as the tide continues to turn in the right direction.”

Recently, The Shot has also received multiple flimsy accusations of “antisemitism” in the press after many years of being deliberately ignored and frozen out of the discourse. I have been running the same line, unapologetically and aggressively, since October 2023. Nothing about my position has changed, so these attacks, too, should be seen as an indication of the increased desperation of those who have spent the last three years peddling a grotesque lie.

In what I can only describe as a baffling coordinated campaign to make us look cool as shit, reporters and columnists at Crikey, The Sydney Morning Herald and The Australian have all lined up to throw eerily similar punches. I don’t think it will surprise anyone to learn that Paul Sakkal, the author of the SMH’s weird hitpiece at David Shoebridge via association with The Shot – in which he asked the new Greens leader to denounce my extreme anti-baby slaughter stance – took one such junket to Israel on a sponsored trip in 2022. Former editor of that paper, Bevan Shields, was also infamously pictured rolling in the Dead Sea mud on another.

This subversion of the truth should be called out for what it is: not just genocidal complicity, as Francesca Albanese so eloquently explains, but the imposition of a narcissistic entity forcing its crafted bullshit reality onto the rest of us. In short: an integral feature of fascism.

These complicit mouthpieces are absurd. Very few people are actually buying their shit anymore. Pew polling reveals 80-percent of Aussies despise Israeli atrocity. But they are still dangerous, nonetheless. If you leave the wrong channel on, you can quickly find yourself in an abusive relationship with your television. The cavalcade of crap is designed to wear sane, humane people out. To quash the fire that burns for justice. And it cultivates a platform where the Prime Minister of a nation sending explosives to this livestreamed slaughter can urge, with a straight face, for the rest of us to “turn the temperature down” as he materially fuels the fires of a literal holocaust.

There’s no healthy reason to listen to any of this crap anymore.

Fuck it, cut the cord.
